The Irish Variety Ensemble was formed in 2003 by members of The Irish Traditional Youth Band and Emerald Isle Dance Team both formed by Pat Mc Nally ARCM. The aim of the Ensemble is to promote Irish music, singing and dancing. All of our members are amateur musicians and dancers, whose goal is to entertain.
Our membership is open to all in Ireland who can attend our rehearsals and have achieved at least grade 4 in music and most importantly have a keen interest in music. We are a non-profit organisation using any funds raised to contribute towards the running of the band. We are 100 percent committed to the advancement of Irish Music.
